Ben Wei Da Cheng means something like “Creating the Original Taste”. The question is a good one. There are so many tea growing areas in Yunnan producing quality teas. but each is different. When we drink pu-erh tea we know this is pu-erh. The owner of Mengku tea factory Mr. Rong (pictured on the wrapper) wanted to create an iconic raw pu-erh tea cake that was balanced. full-bodied and pure. His creation is this unique Certified Organic blend. Yunnan Shuang Jiang Mengku ÔÆÄÏ˫½­Û¿â : Shuangjiang Mengku is a company that was established in 1999 in the city of Shuangjiang. which means Double River. in Mengku county of Lincang Áٲ× prefecture. The predecessor was a state-owned Shuangjiang Factory that was established in 1974. Their teas have become renowned for both their distinct crisp tastes and reasonable prices. The name of their factory is Rongshi (ÈÖÊÏ) and so they sometimes also produce teas under the Mengku Rongshi label. Presently. they have become one of the top tea producers in the country. Mengku’s classic recipes include “Mu Shu Cha”. “Wild Arbor King”. and “Spirit of Tea” and are typically produced each and every year! 500 Grams per cake 5 cakes per tong Certified Organic by OTRDC China (Not USDA Organic) Ben Wei Da Cheng Ben Wei Da Cheng Ben Wei Da Cheng This tea cake is composed entirely of Gong Ting (Tribute) grade ripe pu-erh tea (the smallest most potent leaf size). The tea was aged for 11 years in Guangdong dry storage condition and has developed a mature subtle taste and abundant cha qi. It’s got slight bitterness up front and then smooth minty sweetness with camphor aroma. The tea soup is super clear burgundy beauty. Langhe ÀɺÓ : Langhe is a factory of Menghai Ûº£ that was founded in 1995. Since then it has built a strong reputation. won awards. and has become one of Yunnan’s most renowned brands. Langhe ripe teas are the most sought after from this tea factory. Classic Langhe recipes include 9599. 9579. 9559. High Mountain Ripe. and Gong Ting Ripe. Langhe ripe teas are excellent for long-term aging because they employ traditional light fermentation “wo dui” technique. This light fermentation allows for gradual aging of the ripe teas and retain much of the character of a raw pu-erh tea.
