The third generation of the local Hokuryū teaware family had previously apprenticed under the Shōryūtouen studio for such solid basic forms and clay technique. A handmade piece with such valid quality and fine artistry is a clear reason for any user to stay away from all those poorly formed commercial or imitation products. This is a handmade item. Each individual piece delivered may have slight variations in colour, pattern, shape and details from the particular one used in these pictures.
