This is a lightly aged tea cake pressed from early spring 2004 tea. Ying Luo mountain straddles Shuangjiang Mengku county and Yong De county of Lincang prefecture. The mountain peaks out at 2700 meters. This tea comes from 60 to 80 year old plantation bushes. The tea is one leaf and one bud sets and is sweet and full in taste. Aging has mellowed it significantly. Medium tight compression of the cake will allow for further aging possibilities. A pleasant tea with characteristics of Mengku Rongshi teas or Yong De teas.
