Incredibly rare is this 1.63 carat GIA Burma (imported prior to Burma ban and new tariffs) ruby that is certified not only as VIVID red but pigeon blood red which is considered the highest color attainable for a ruby.  The ruby measures 6.38-6.48 X 4.1 mm, has superb cutting, clarity and luster.  The brilliance varies under different lighting conditions and the photographs are taken under halogen light with a flash.  The ruby is less brilliant under regular LED lighting and more brilliant with other indoor lighting and sunlight. The vivid red color is beautifully contrasted by the halo of shared prong set round brilliant diamonds.  Diamonds also line the ring’s shoulders and in total this designer A.
