Amba TGOP (Tippy Golden Orange Pekoe) Black Tea Amba TGOP (Tippy Golden Orange Pekoe) is a black tea from Amba Tea Estate located in Sri Lanka’s Uva Highlands. The tea is hand-picked and processed according to traditional artisan standards. The tea garden’s exemplary environmental and social standards further add to making Amba TGOP a premium tea coveted by tea connoisseurs worldwide. Its full-bodied, clear, copper-red-golden cup seduces with notes of dried fruits, sweet meadow grass, and a hint of lemon. 2. Amba’s Uva Oolong Tea Amba’s Uva Oolong is a semi-oxidized tea from the Amba Tea Estate located in Sri Lanka’s Uva highland region. It combines classic Chinese Oolong tea tradition with the characteristics of a Ceylon tea in a new and unique way. The tea is full-bodied, soft, and rich in flavor, delighting with a rare combination of floral, grassy-buttery, and sweet honey notes, rounded off with a touch of the wintergreen typical of the silicate-rich soils of the Uva highlands. 3. Ebony Springs Green Tea Cigars The “Green Tea Cigars” of Sri Lankan artisanal specialtea producer Ebony Springs are individually handrolled into tubular shape from the 2nd leaf out of each “1 2” bud. The resulting playful visual appearance promotes curiosity about how this tea might offer in terms of taste: a fresh vegetable spring green with a touch of lemon coating the savourer’s taste buds like a precious oil. 4. Kaley’s Mellow Black Tea Kaley’s Mellow Black is a Ceylon black tea, handcrafted by the Lady Artisans of the Kaley Tea Garden near the town of Kotapola, Sri Lanka. The bouquet of the golden cup invites the gourmet’s senses to revel in the tea’s rich cocoa and caramel aroma. The resulting flavor profile is further complemented by a delicately spiced, fresh hay-infused and slightly floral note with a subtle hint of bergamot orange and sweet honey! 5. Ebony Springs White Peony White Tea Chinese-style white tea with 2 1 “White Peony” picking standard from Bernard Holsinger’s small but fine tea garden in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. In addition to sustainable cultivation, everything here is traditional manual work, from picking to artisan production. This and the unmistakable character of teas from Ceylon give the white tea from Ebony Springs its special individual character and superior quality. 6. Forest Hill’s Warnagala Wild Black Tea Signature black tea from Forest Hill Tea Garden, Adam’s Peak, Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. The current British owners newly established the tea garden in 2018 on the ruins of a 1890 abandoned tea garden. It lies at approx. 900 meters altitude on Adam’s Peak, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. Focus of the sustainably and socially responsibly operating CATA member tea garden is on producing forest-friendly artisan black teas.
