Details A fine Yibang pu erh tea made from raw tea leaves from the ‘Six Famous Tea Mountain’ factory. A treasure that’s worth to be part of your cake collection. When it comes to the selection of wine, location matters. That’s no different for pu erh teas! It’s the soil, the air, and the climate that makes a tea unique. And for pu erh, you really want to try one that’s made from leaves from a reputable mountain. This raw tea cake is from Yibang, which is one of the six famous tea mountains, along the Ancient Tea Horse road in Yunnan. With such as long period of aging, the flavour has transformed from dry to smooth and from bitter to sweet. It’s so amazing that we wonder whether this is tea, or whether years of aging has transformed it into ‘something else’. We’ve got only a few pieces of this treasure in stock. Buy yours today, before it’s gone. About Yibang Yibang Tea Mountain is located in Xiangming Town of Mengla County. In the Dai language, Yibang is known as Mola. It encompasses six villages, and the terrain mainly consists of mountains. The area is home to numerous ethnic minorities. Tea from Yibangs Mansong village was once offered as imperial tribute tea. Since that time, Mansong village tea was considered the best in Yibang. A relatively large number of tea varieties grow in Yibang including large leaf, medium leaf and small leaf ones. The elevation of the area is between 850 and 1900 meters with yearly rainfall between 1,000 and 1,800 mm. It has 1,600 and 2,000 hours of sunshine per year and the weather is warm and relatively humid.
