Beschreibung: Hon Mirin von Hinode ist eine der wichtigsten Basiszutaten der japanischen Küche und wird am besten als süßer Reiswein zum Kochen beschrieben. Die süße Würzsoße enthält bis zu 14% Alkohol, die bei der Fermentation von Reis und Wasser entstehen. Aufgrund der Fermentation, bei der die Sauce Alkohol und Zucker zurückbehält, ist Mirin leicht zähflüssig, hat eine gelbliche Farbe und schmeckt im Prinzip nach mit Zucker versetztem Reiswein.
